I have long wanted to try baking sourdough, and now, with your straightforward recipe, it think it’s doable for me. Other recipes I came across seemed so very complicated. Now, I just need to go look at your Jamie Oliver starter link!

I will make the sourdough starter my next post :) But mostly, it's important to have two types of flour in the beginning and to not give up after 3-4 days. It should take about 6 or 7 days.

A mix of wheat and rye is good for the first mix, you can go ahead with only wheat after that. It worked for me.
